*There is currently a peace move following a protracted
rulership dispute arising over the stool since 1992 when
Chief Idamiebi Brown was de- stooled and the present
incumbent installed in 1996. As a result of this dispute,
Finima has not enjoyed the development and advancement a
host community of several multi-national companies ought
to enjoy. The move will likely see a co-operation between the
two Chiefs for peace in the overall interest of the
community.
